Submission Guidelines for Wild Whispers Poetry Magazine
Micropoetry Length: Less than 160 Characters and seven lines, including the title and a line space. The body of the poem must be five lines or less. You might like to use the free character & line counter here.
Micropoetry Amount: You may submit up to three poems.
Micropoetry Titles: Each micropoem must have a title. If a poem does not have a title, please label it as "Poem 1," etc., for identification purposes during the selection process. These placeholder titles will not be published.
Micropoetry Forms: In brackets, after the title, please identify the form of each poem submitted, such as, monostitch, tanka, free verse. You can personalise and modernise the poetic form, for example, by using fewer syllables in a haiku than the standard.
Submission Format: Paste directly into the body of the email in UK English, Left Aligned, Arial 11 Font or Similar, Single spaced, Unbolded.

Publication Policy:
- Wild Whispers Poetry Journal accepts previously published poetry.
- Please do not appropriate the narrative voice of peoples who have historically had their voices silenced.
- We do not pay for poetry submissions or offer feedback.
- English language poetry is preferred. Irish with English language translation is also accepted.
- You retain the rights to your poems.
- If selected, you are agreeing to your poetry being published in Wild Whispers Poetry Magazine (Online) and on our website's blog and our social media platforms. Once published in the online magazine, the poetry cannot be removed at a later date. We can remove the poetry from social media at a future date if requested.
- Wild Whispers Poetry Magazine is permanetly indexed by the Australian literature database AustLit and by the National Library of Australia, TROVE and the poetry will be archived in these places for future generations to research.
