Wild Whispers Poetry was launched in Perth/Boorloo, December 14th, 2024. It is an independent online magazine focused on short, contemporary, English-language poetry from poets around the world. The magazine contains tips, tricks, articles, and advice for poets and aims to showcase short poetry. The magazine operates from both Australia and Northern Ireland. Our team is based in Perth, Australia and County Down, Northern Ireland. We encourage poetry from both places as well as others.
We are currently not accepting any more subscriptions. We have done 2 issues in 2025, and plan to do the same in 2026. Please subscribe to our mailing list for updates.

Ruth Collins is a Classics Historian (Funerary Stelae) and Art Historian (Outdoor Sculpture) and has a master's degree in Viking Studies focusing on the transcultural impact between the Norse and Indigenous Irish.
