About
Wild Whispers Poetry was launched in Perth/Boorloo, December 14th, 2024. It is an independent online magazine focused on short, contemporary, English-language poetry from poets around the world. The magazine contains tips, tricks, articles, and advice for poets and aims to showcase short poetry. The magazine operates from both Australia and Northern Ireland. Our team is based in Perth, Australia and County Down, Northern Ireland. We encourage poetry from both places as well as others. Here is what we are looking for in your poems:
1. Emotional Depth: Poems that evoke strong emotions, using gentle and thoughtful language.
2. Imagery: Imagery that enriches the poem.
3. Flair: Poems that have an urban style and a modern edge.
4. Connection to Place: Humans connecting to the remaining natural spaces around them.
5. Limited Punctuation: The less punctuation used the better, unless needed.
